Hello September! It’s the start of cosy season and I am here for it. I love embracing all seasons, finding the best in them and soaking up the simple pleasures. This Summer I’ve felt more confident embracing new styles, having photos taken and enjoying fashion without worrying (too much) about my insecurities. I really want that to continue and so when PrettyLittleThing offered to send me some clothes I jumped at the chance.

I’ve shopped with the brand a few times before and appreciate that their plus size range is true to the brand – they don’t automatically thing everyone over a size 16 is only there for long tops with cold shoulders – no shade if that’s your thing! You’ll find their vibe is consistent across the range, as it should be.

We took a couple of snaps of my favourite looks from the PLT AW19 line which I’m sharing with you today. My favourite piece is definitely the snake print skirt, it’s super comfortable and a perfect length. I can see my styling this with band tees, polo necks and cropped jackets right through the year. It’s actually out of stock now but they have lots of similar skirts I’m already convincing myself I need…

Another cute look I’m super happy with is this dusty pink shift dress. I love a dress you can style for day or night because let’s face it I don’t go ‘out’ at night often enough to have a whole separate wardrobe for after dark antics. I think simple dresses are perfect for this transitional time of year too as you can style them with tights and boots if it’s chilly. I have this grey shift dress in my basket right now, it’s a bit different than anything I have in my wardrobe but I’m embracing new things and I think it looks really comfortable. A/W fashion is definitely about comfort for me!

The other dress I choose is this Dalmatian print midi dress, as soon as I saw it on the website I had to have it, spots are so on trend right now and I love the cheeky split. I did find the sizing a bit too generous on this one so if you’re planning a purchase I would size down – I’m actually going to exchange mine as I really love it but it is just too big and will look so much better in a smaller size.

I’d love to know which look is your favourite and if you’ve ordered from PrettyLittleThing before. The spotty dress is a little out of my comfort zone but as I said I’m pushing myself so expect to see it again soon on Instagram!
