We were sent the Elf and Seek Christmas Countdown to feature on social media but I love it so much i’ve written a post to share it with you in more detail.
I don’t know about you but I am a Christmas fanatic, I love everything about the season. The smells; the lights, the tastes, the music, I never tire of the festivities. Some people say you can have a too much of a good thing and that is true, but not when it comes to Christmas! It’s only November but I’ve already planned out most of my shopping, pre recorded some seasonal videos and mentally decorated the tree at least twice. It’s fair to say Christmas is the only thing I’m ever organised for!
With this being Luisas’ first ‘proper’ Christmas my excitement is at an all time high. I can’t wait to see her little face as she really enters in and understands more of the magic of the season. This year we’re starting a lot of new traditions; a Christmas Eve box, matching PJs, baking gifts for our neighbours and a fabulous advent game. We’ve been sent a gorgeous alternative to the traditional advent calendar from The Little Treats Bakery which I’m so excited to share with you today.
Elf and Seek Festive Countdown is a sweet little cardboard gingerbread house filled up with 24 individually wrapped gingerbread elves. The idea is that you hide one around the house each evening and the game the next morning is to find the little ginger treat. I think this will be such a lovely way to start the day throughout December, I can imagine our elves will be getting up to all sorts of mischief.
The gingerbread elves are made with natural colours and quality ingredients which is a big win in my book, advent chocolate is not all it’s cracked up to be! Obviously I haven’t tried the little elves yet, that’d be cheating, but the lovely people at The Little Treats Bakery also sent us a few extra biscuits to try and they were truly delicious.
Elf and Seek is super sweet, pun intended, and inclusive – I can’t wait until December to start the games! You can pick up the Elf and Seek Festive Countdown for £12 on Amazon.
