“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Today I’m joining in with the Living Arrows linkup hosted by Donna (What the Redhead Said) sharing some snaps of what we’ve been up to recently.

Last weekend my parents were off gallivanting in Amsterdam so Matt, Luisa & I spent most of our time in their house with my younger brother and our two Labradors. The weather was great so I took the dogs to the park one day and we all and had a lovely lunch out.

Later on in the week it was St Patricks day! In years gone by we would have marked the occasion with a rather rowdy party but having Luisa in tow has tamed us a little. This year we went to the beach with Matt’s family and had a BBQ. It was a gorgeous day and Luisa had a lot of fun playing with her aunts and uncles.

In less exciting news Luisa needed to get her passport photos organised this past week, it went really well – the guy who took them was fantastic, you could tell he had years of experience working with kids. Afterwards I treated us to a little lunch date, Luisa had sweet potato wedges and avocado stolen from my sandwich. Cheeky. We went to a place in Belfast called Baker Street, if your local you should check it out. The food is really tasty, service impeccable and the decor is tres chic.

With our upcoming holiday I felt like this weekend called for a little retail therapy. Luisa is just starting to fit into 9-12 month clothes so she was thoroughly spoilt in the Next sale. Of course Matt couldn’t resist the opportunity to treat us to matching (ish) shoes. We’re fully aware of how frivolous this is. Still – #squadgoals

Hope you had a great week and that it’s sunny where you are 🙂
