The lovely folks at Funky Giraffe recently gave me a voucher to choose some of their bibs to try out for the purposes of this review. This couldn’t have come at a better time as Luisa is teething non-stop at the minute, despite not have a single tooth to show for it. A teething baby is hard enough work without having to contend with dribble rash on her little chest too!
You only have to take a quick look on the Funky Giraffe site to see that they have a big range of bibs in designs to suit every taste. I love the fact that so many of them are bright and a bit different. While your baby is still small their bib is a good 1/3 of their outfit so I always like to make sure L has stylish options on hand.
When the bibs arrived I was actually surprised at how great they looked. Of course I expected them to be nice, I’d seen the website and chosen them myself, what I mean is the pictures don’t do them justice. The shape and size of the bibs is just right. Quite a few of the other bandana bibs we’ve tried have been too big and looked a bit odd.
We’ve only had the bibs for a few days so L hasn’t had time to wear them all but so far I think they look great on her and the two that I’ve washed held their shape and look as good as new. They are also extremely soft and I like the fact that there are two poppers to adjust the size as your baby grows.
Some of the things that particularly impressed me about Funky Giraffe are:
- They offer free UK delivery when you spend £7
- The more bibs you buy the lower the cost per bib
- They really care about quality of the product anda re mindful of their environmental impact, working hard to be as ethical and sustainable as possible – more info here
As I said above you can have free delivery in the UK if you spend £7 or more, if you’re based in the USA visit this site to order – otherwise just drop the team an email for shipping enquiries to other countries.
All in I’d totally recommend Funky Giraffe bibs to anyone with a dribbly baby or toddler as they are practical, stylish and affordable. If you’d like to try them out enter below to win a voucher entitling you to 7 bibs of your choice.
something cold to chew on, there are lots of chew toys you can pop in the freezer
Teething granules and bonjela and lots of cuddles
A teething ring which can be cooled in the fridge. As this can be cooling, soothing for baby to chew on.
We love Funky Giraffe Bibs and we actually only use their bibs. The designs are brilliant and change with the seasons. We still use some of the bibs that we put on Rowan when he was four months old and he still wears them now. They’ve lasted such a long time. Great value for money too.

These look lovely! When my daughter was teething I always liked to match the bib to her outfit too but struggled to find pretty ones. I also always found the bandana ones to come up big, but these look perfect! xo
Awww, they are really cute! I have never used this company before (and won’t now my two are older) but they look fab! I love the pretty designs 🙂

I love these range of bibs – they have such lovely designs x
Funky giraffe bibs are fab aren’t they?! Great designs you’ve chosen
The Twinkles had SO many bandana style bibs when they were tiny!! We must have bought about 30 of the things!! All in different colours and patterns to coordinate with what they were wearing!! Such a great idea 🙂
Cute bibs! We had similar ones for Lamb when he was a baby. Not only do they soak up dribble well, but they look really stylish too! x
i put the teether into the freezer get it nice and cold it always seems to sooth the gums
I love those shaped bibs, they were great for drinking milk too as they would catch the milk when it ran down their neck. I love the patterns.
Ah yes that’s a great point it’s a pain when they get milk or juice stuck round their wee chubby necks
i love these type of bibs, much nicer than the big ugly ones you can get. There seems to be a lot of new designs since I was last on the website so I will definitely be checking those out! xx
We always used Bonjela, it worked for us
Amber necklaces work well … or frozen teething rings
i use frozen teething rings, or dentinox, and lots of cuddles
lots of cuddles and calpol
Bonjela, and something cool to chew on.
Keep a good supply of steralized teethers in the fridge so the natural cold will help numb the pain.
A nice cool teething ring to chew on or Bonjela if that fails.
What lovely photos in your review. My top tip is lots of the little one’s favourite distractions and Calpol.
