*We received complimentary entry to Tayto Park in exchange for this blog post. Recently we made the trip down south to Ashbourne, Co. Meath so we could visit Tayto Park a glorious fusion between zoo and theme park. There are over 100 different attractions and it really has something for the whole family. You can get to Tayto Park in just 90 minutes from Belfast so it’s definitely something to put on the summer bucket-list if you’re local to me!     For those of you who aren’t lucky enough to be from the island of Ireland Tayto is actually a really popular brand of crisps, far superior to Walkers if you ask me! The story of its founder is amazing so if you fancy some extra reading here’s a piece on Mr Ray Cole. Anyway, back to Tayto Park before I make myself hungry talking about crisps. This is the second…

I’m so glad I started joining in with Little Loves last week because I’ve really enjoyed reading more of these posts from fellow bloggers. It’s so nice to have a little catch up and see what everyone has been doing over the past week. Without further ado here’s my Little Loves from the past week.   READ As per last week I simply do not have the time to read a proper book – one day! Here’s a little visual of three of my favourite blog posts I’ve read in this past week.     WATCHED It’s been a busy week for work which means a slow week for TV! Yesterday I had the really wonderful opportunity to get a sneak peak inside the new Entertainer toy shop in Castle Court. This is the 131st store and a first foray into the Northern Irish market for The Entertainer. You can find the store on the first floor in Castle Court, next to Starbucks, opposite Debenhams.     The official opening is on Saturday 13th August at 9am when there will be a lot of exciting things happening. You can expect to meet Lego characters, see product demos and even meet some Star Wars fan favourites. For those of you who buy a Lego toy there will be a free gift and there are balloons and entertainment planned for everyone. The first 15 families in line will be getting an extra special treat in the form of a surprise voucher. The vouchers will start at £5 with one lucky family guaranteed to scoop a…

We’ve all been there – meandering around town, peckish, with time to spare and delusions of grandeur. You start looking for somewhere to lunch or brunch and then you remember your clammy little sidekick with no table manners. Well that’s that then, off to a popular family friendly chain for canteen style food. Or is it? I am absolutely not about to spend my time or money in a below par establishment just because I have a baby in tow. By and large I’ve kept going to the same places I’ve always favoured. That being said, not all eateries are as accommodating as you might need them to be when you’re dining with someone under 2ft. Here’s a quick guide to my 4 favourite spots for some quality grub in Belfast, in no particular order. These are by far the best places I’ve been to with Luisa, all for different reasons,…
