I’m sure you noticed from my enthusiastic instagramming a few weeks ago I was in London for a couple of days with Mothercare. I’ve been working with them over the last few months on the #DressMyBump campaign focussing on encouraging mums-to-be to embrace their bodies and maternity style. If you didn’t catch my first post about maternity style and body image you can read it here. The culmination of the project was a wonderful photoshoot experience for two mums to be in London. When I arrived I was introduced to the team and given a run down of how the morning would go. I…

Whenever I was about 6 months pregnant I received a card through the post from my Nannie, she sent me a cheque and wrote a lovely letter reminiscing about her own experiences of pregnancy. In her letter she explained how she’d felt so uncomfortable and frumpy with nothing to wear until one day she decided she’d had enough. Off she went to a local department store for a whole new maternity wardrobe that made her feel so much more comfortable in her own skin.     She talked about how not looking and feeling yourself can really get you down and…

I’m so glad I started joining in with Little Loves last week because I’ve really enjoyed reading more of these posts from fellow bloggers. It’s so nice to have a little catch up and see what everyone has been doing over the past week. Without further ado here’s my Little Loves from the past week.   READ As per last week I simply do not have the time to read a proper book – one day! Here’s a little visual of three of my favourite blog posts I’ve read in this past week.     WATCHED It’s been a busy…

I’m sure you can tell by now I have a bit of a problem with baby clothes. I love every aspect of little peoples fashion from shopping on the high-street to browsing online finding boutique brands and supporting small businesses. So when Rockin’ Baby got in touch to see if we wanted to try out their new Summer collection of course I accepted.   Until now all I knew about Rockin’ Baby was that they are an American brand who sell very cool baby carriers and slings. Already being a fan of their fun prints I was excited to see what…

As a recent survivor of a holiday with a baby I thought I’d share with you some of the bits and pieces that made our lives a whole lot easier. We had our first family holiday abroad in late April this year. Matt, Luisa and I headed to sunny Crete and had a brilliant week, you can read more about what we got up to here. Of course you’ll want to pack the true essentials; clothes, nappies, suncream and snacks if your baby is fussy. But there are a few other things that I’d really reccomend you invest in before…

There’s very little I’d rather spend my money on than adorable baby clothes and I don’t think I’m alone in that. I have been trying to curb my spending over the last few months as Luisa’s wardrobe was ready to burst. Much to my delight she had a bit of a growth spurt recently so I had a legitimate reason to hit the high-street. The icing on the cake came last week when House of Fraser got in touch and asked if we’d like to pick out a few items and try to stick to a budget of £35. The selection…

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you’ll know I am an absolute sucker for pretty baby clothes. Luisa has far too many, I know, but I love how versatile and eclectic her wardrobe is. Now if only I could figure out a way to enlarge it all for me… Last year Luisa had the pleasure of rocking the softest, cutest pair of shoes from Bambini and Me. You might have spotted them in my post ‘Autumn Winter BabyStyle’ This Summer we’re falling in love with the brand all over again as Lu has been wearing their new bamboo bodysuit…
