No matter what age your kid is it seems like the world and his wife have two priorities, A) finding out what ‘naughty’ things they are currently doing and B) warning you of the hell to come. Lucky for me I have a A-level in eye rolling and a degree in ignoring unsolicitied parenting advice. Luisa was always what you might call a ‘good’ baby. She was easy pleased, or maybe we were just excellent slaves – who knows. Either way she never gave us much bother. Sure she didn’t (doesn’t) sleep through the night but she’s always been a…

A very dear friend sent me a link to a Mumsnet thread this morning. It’s ten to 11 and I’ve been up since 7.30 having only got to bed at 3 thanks to my toddler who has her days and nights confused somehow. So it’s fair to say I’m in no mood to be fucked with. Hands up who spends half the morning staring at the pile of clothes on the floor, wandering aimlessly to the clean ones in a mound in the kitchen and then half heartedly poking the dirty mountain for good measure? Like most mums, I think, I tend to live vicariously through Luisa. One of my vices is clothes shopping for her, there are just so many cute things you can pick up and thanks to online shopping it’s oh so easy for a few bits to fall in your basket. I’ve been taking on a lot fewer reviews on the blog this year but when one of my favourite brands got in touch about their new collection I couldn’t help myself.     I featured From Babies With Love in November when I showed you their range of organic soft toys.…
