Luisa takes her art very seriously – there’s not a day goes by that we aren’t colouring something, reaching for the glitter or making some sort of sculpture. What can I say, the kid has vision and I am bound to execute the tricky bits. Her most impressive creation is probably hammocks for paper people made using card and pipe cleaners. As we do so many arts, crafts and sensory activities they can’t all be big messy slime and glitter affairs.
One of my favourite things to do is grab the paint sticks and set her up at her easel. We first got Little Brian paint sticks in a goody bag about two years ago, I was so impressed I’ve bought sets for every Christmas and birthday since and recommended them in previous gift guides on this blog.
They’re a genius product, solid sticks of bright poster paint that give maximum satisfaction to your budding artist with minimal mess. Little Brian paint sticks mean your children can enjoy mess-free painting on multiple surfaces with the unique twist up format and the paint dries in 90 seconds. Even for younger children they’re fantastic to encourage fine motor skills and mark making activities. The colour pay off is really impressive.
Previously we’ve bought the paint sticks on Amazon but they’re now available in selected Tesco stores. To celebrate we are giving away 3 packs of the 24 Paint Sticks pack. The 24-pack contains a wide selection of colours, including 12 Classic, 6 Day-Glow and 6 Metallic. As you can see the paint sticks twist up and down easily like a glue stick. Lu’s been using them since before she was two with ease. Read on to see some of the Autumnal / Halloween crafts we’ve made using them.
The 24-pack are on offer in Tesco for just £10 right now! You can find out if your nearest store stocks them by checking this list. There’s also more info on other stockists and ways to use the paint sticks on the Little Brian website.
Use the gleam form below to enter for a chance to win a pack yourself. Three winners will receive the same 24 Pack pictured above.
