Festive Fashion for Under 3s

It’s November, a glorious month otherwise known as ‘prechristmas’ in our house. I’m getting into the festive spirit with plenty of shopping and planning. I’ve mentioned before I do have a small problem with over indulging when it comes to Luisas wardrobe. This year I’m trying to be savvier and it’s going quite well… so far. I’ve begun by forgoing my usual Boden splurge and instead getting two gorgeous woodland animal cardigans from Matalan for less than half the price. I’ve also got a few seasonal pieces I grabbed in the January sales last year which are now the appropriate size for Luisa – winning!

Nevertheless I know i’ll have to indulge in a little bit of a shopping spree to pull her festive wardrobe together so today I’m sharing my picks from my favourite high-street retailers for kiddos – JoJo Maman Bebe and Mothercare.

One of the best ways to get more for your money and enjoy those festive vibes for longer is to go for winter woodland inspired outfits which your little one can rock from October to January with ease. I absolutely love these on trend sequin tops from JoJo which look equally great with cosy cords, comfortable leggings or a cute skirt. The little polar bear jumper from Mothercare has already fallen into my basket and I’m hoping to visit the store soon so Luisa can try on the brown boots and see if they’re comfortable.

If you’re ready to throw caution to the wind and fully embrace the festive season you can’t do that without a lot of red! These outfits are all from Mothercare with the exception of the mustard trousers and robin cardigan which are from JoJo Maman Bebe again. Luisa was peering over my shoulder as I worked on this post and she’s very disappointed that she can’t wear the penguin dress right now so I think that will be finding it’s way into our shopping cart pretty soon. My favourite piece is definitely the little bird jumper – did you know it comes in adult sizes too!?

If your little one is, well, little here are my favourite picks for the festive season. For me, baby clothes are ALL about comfort and ease of changing. I love to see babies in rompers, sleep-suits and leggings as they’re super soft, not too fussy and easy to layer up or down depending on the temperature. Again, this is a Mothercare heavy selection with the robin all in one and pink hat being from JoJo.

So there you have it – a perfect festive wardrobe for babies and toddlers, sorry if i’ve prompted a splurge! Don’t worry though, I have a little treat to make things easier on the wallet… follow these links for both a Mothercare discount code and a JoJo Maman Bebe voucher code. You’re welcome 😉
